What was the highlight of 2br Orchard Modern Luxury
Great potential but due to lack of care, it felt overpriced
Host was lovely to deal with to get the keys. The location was excellent right on Orchard Rd and a few steps from the MRT. The rooms were air conditioned and the decor was nice.
However there were leaks in the toilets, ants all over the apartment. We couldn’t open the cupboards as the beds were pushed right up against them so nowhere to hang our clothes. Towels were provided but they were old and grey. Be aware it is also very noisy being right above the shops on Orchard Rd.

Good location good shops.

There is NO office you can only contact them by phone where meet on street to be taken to unit. There was no information booklet or folder in the unit, to tell how to use the TV, what to do with your rubbish etc. No general information, the only cooking item was a rice cooker and microwave . When showing in 2nd shower water came out into area where the washing machine was. Bath mats where not clean. We left unit clean. Paid refundable deposit $200.which has not been returned.

Big bathroom has no shower curtain. water all over the floor when you take a shower. the air condition in the living room quit working after 2 days. We're leaving the next day anyway so no big deal.

What was the highlight of 2br Orchard Modern Luxury
Disappointing
I booked this unit (see picture attached) and called to confirm if this will be the actual unit. As i know they have more units in Lucky Plaza apartments. And they confirmed. Upon arrival- they asked us to wait in Mcdonalds. Ok fine, waited for 30mins when we keep on messaging each other that we are on the way already. In this humid weather...i started getting frustrated but stayed clam. Then we went up to the apartment....and it disappointed everyone! I paid for $1200 for a 3nights stay. With this picture in mind. And i got was.... - living room ac not working very well - bathroom is very old fashioned (not renovated) - dining table/chair - cheap chairs from ikea - kitchen table top are dilapidated - washing machine is loaded with something (checked and there are bathroom rugs with the bath towels) irk!!!! - unit is secured by a chain lock with a code xxx (they confirmed they change this every guest) Of course i complained...and showed them the picture i reserved. Guesthouse customer service hotline is not helping at all. When i tried calling them for follow up- they simply hang up my calls! Aftrr 1 hr of waiting. They came back telling me... - unit ac is not working (duh, as if this unit is working) - they are offering me a free cancellation!!!!!!! Free cancellation on the day!!!! Are they kidding me!!!!! Later on, they offered free airport transfer which we accepted as i might have heart attack if i continue to insist what i deserve for the money we paid for. I assured my guest if everyone is fine with set up as we want to enjoy the rest of tje day and our vacation. All said yes. But i vowed to leave reviews for this property! Watch out for the unit in 13th floor...1324 i think. Never again!!!!
